1967 440 GTX Exhaust System

The 1967 GTX used a unique looking exhaust system. The tail pipes on this car actually angled out at the back of the car with a chrome tips to added to accentuate the angle. Our reproduction system comes with the correct 2 1/2″ H – Pipe with correct flat for the torsion bar on the driver side and the correct flat on the bottom of the pipe, correct welded in cross over pipe, correct welded on flanges, our H – Pipe necks down to 2 1/ 4″ where it goes into the muffler because that is the way it was done. The kit would include correct 440 style mufflers with correct flats, correct tail pipes swaged and slit to accept GTX tips.. rounded bottom style Mopar clamps, correct double loop muffler hangers, and tail pipe hangers and chrome tips are available. Installation instructions diagrams and sealant are also included as part of the kit. Ask about our concourse muffler hangers and show package for the guy who wants to compete on the show circuit.

1966 - 1969 Mopar B - Body Muffler Hangers

Although this hanger is not our reproduction we do offer a very similar hanger that comes as part of our ki along with the correct u - nut and screwt. This hanger is a dead on ringer to the original piece that outfitted these cars and is an option with any of our 1966 - 1969 426 or 440 exhaust systems

1967 GTX Tail Hanger

Although this hanger is not our reproduction we are pleased to offer it. This hanger is an excellent reproduction of the original hanger and we offer them zinc plated with the correct attaching hardware. It is available on one of our 1967 GTX exhaust kits.

1967 - 1971 Mopar Clamp

This is the correct clamp for the 1967-1971 Mopars. These clamps have not been available for a very long time but after acquiring an original we have reproduced this unique clamp to be as original.

Although these tips are not one of our own reproductions we have compared them to original and find them to be an excellent copy of the original equipment. The tips pictured here are available with any of our 1967 GTX exhaust systems.

Sealant

This sealant is to be used in all joint to joint connections on the Mopar exhaust systems. This sealant will aid in the sealing of the system as well as help keep the carbon and condensation from blowing out onto your new exhaust system.
