1970 – 1972 Corvette Small Block Automatic Transmission System

The 1970 – 1972 Corvette Small Blocks used 2″ head pipes and 2″ rear pipes. Our reproductions come with the correct 2″ front pipes and rear pipes with wrinkle bends. . This kit also includes correct mufflers with correct brackets welded on correct flanges,extensions, donuts, sealant flattened style u-bolts and open face u-bolts. hangers, heat riser and stud kit can be optioned for at the time of ordering.

1964 - 1974 Corvette 2" Center Exhaust Hanger

Although this hanger is not one of our reproductions it is an excellent reproduction of the original hanger and we offer it with no apprehension.

1968 - 1972 Corvette Muffler Hanger

This hanger was used to hold the muffler in place at the back of the car. Our hangers are hand built with corded rubbers come with the correct screws and attaching hardware and are an excellent reproduction of the original hangers.

1970 - 1972 2" Corvette Clamp

These are the correct clamps for the 1970 - 1972 Corvettes with the low HP motors. This clamp was used to attache the chrome tips to the mufflers originally and is an excellent reproduction of the original. These are the correct clamps for the 1970 - 1972 Corvettes with the low HP motors. This clamp was used to attach the head pipes to the intermediate pipes originally and is an excellent reproduction of the original. Our clamps come with the correct flat top u-bolt with the correct knurl and are another Gardner Exhaust exclusive reproduction.

Corvette heat riser

This is the correct small block heat riser for the 1957 - 1972 small block corvettes. Our heat risers come with the correct Corvette small block gasket. Our heat risers are available with any of our heat risers are available with any of our 1957 to 1972 corvette small block non high performance exhaust systems.

Chevy Stud Kit

This is the correct stud kit for the 1957-1972 Chevys. This stud kit has the correct dog point on the studs and uses the correct stove nuts as original. This kit is available with any of our Chevy systems.

Sealant

Originally a clear silicon sealant was used in all the joint to joint connections on most exhaust systems. This was referred to as "grease" in the assembly manual but it was a clear sealant like the one pictured here. After analyzing original samples off our pipes and searching incessantly we came up with a match with the sealant pictured here. This sealant comes as part of any Gardner Exhaust Kit
