1970 Camaro Big Block Exhaust System

1970 Camaro big block exhaust system kit comes with the following: Correct 2 1/4″ head pipes with flats and wrinkles, correct flanges, extensions, donuts, correct 2 1/4″ over the axle pipes with wrinkles in all but first bend because that is the way the General did it. Correct transverse muffler with flats on top as original, correct 2″ tail pipes with correct angle cut and correct bracket welded on. Our chrome tail pipes are done as originals, completed, cut, chrome plated and welded back together. This kit comes with guillotine style clamps for attaching all components and now we can provide the exact correct clamps for the purist. Heat risers, stud kits and the correct hangers can be optioned for with any of our Camaro systems. Ask about our concourse show pkg. for those who look as raw steel as second best.

1970-1973 Camaro Muffler Hanger:

These hangers are
one of only a few pieces we offer that are not one of our reproduction pieces. We have always said that it is not necesarry to reproduce a piece if it is being made properly. Both this muffler hanger and the tail pipe hangers are excellent reproduction pieces, we know this because we helped in the reproduction process by lending out our originals. This hanger comes zinc plated to aid in logevity

1970-1974 Camaro Tail Pipe Hangers:

These hangesr are a very nice reproduction of the original and come with the correct screws to help hang the tail pipe properly. They come zinc plated to aid in longevity.

After years of searching we have come up with the original clamps that were used on the 1970 -1974 Camaros. We spent our time scrounging for these after receiving pictures of original so you don't have to. The clamp pictured here is absolutely correct and is optional with any of our 1970 - 1974 Camaro exhaust systems.

1965 - 1971 Chevy Big Block Heat Riser

This is the correct big block heat riser for the 1965 -1971 Big BlockChevys. They come with the correct chevy big block gasket and are available with any of our Chevy big block exhaust systems.

Chevy Stud Kit

This is the correct stud kit for the 1957-1972 Chevys. This stud kit has the correct dog point on the studs and uses the correct stove nuts as original. This kit is available with any of our Chevy systems.

1965 - 1972 Chevy Big Block Extensions

These are the correct Chevy extensions and donut gaskets that were used in the head pipes of every chevy from 1957 up until 1972. They come as part of any Gardner Exhaust Chevy Kit.

Sealant

Originally a clear silicon sealant was used in all the joint to joint connections on most exhaust systems. This was referred to as "grease" in the assembly manual but it was a clear sealant like the one pictured here. After analyzing original samples off our pipes and searching incessantly we came up with a match with the seaman pictured here. This sealant comes as part of any Gardner Exhaust Kit
